Shared Interest Groups
Shared interest groups are based on cultural background, major, profession, or other Tufts-related interests and many are chapters of the Tufts University Alumni Association (TUAA). Each of these organizations encourages its members to enhance their connection to Tufts and to other alumni through continued exploration of shared experiences. Asian American Alumni Association
The mission of Tufts University Asian American Alumni Association is to maintain an alumni network of those that identify as Asian American and those that connect to the Asian American community. The chapter coordinates with the Asian American Center and the Office of Alumni Relations to plan communications and events. Association of Black Alumni
The Tufts Association of Black Alumni (TABA) strives to maintain the bond between Black alumni and Tufts University by developing programs and events that encourage prolonged involvement with the greater Tufts community. Association of Tufts Alumnae
Founded in 1905, the Association of Tufts Alumnae (ATA) supports and celebrates Tufts women through scholarships and diverse events, both professional and social. The chapter’s Leadership Forums and career networking events draw hundreds of Tufts women with a wealth of experience to share. Latino Alumni Association of Tufts University
The Latino Alumni Association of Tufts University (LAATU) advocates for the interests and concerns of Latino alumni and students, while providing an avenue for networking among alumni and promoting involvement in local, regional, and national activism. The chapter coordinates with the Latino Center and the Office of Alumni Relations to plan communications and events. Pride on the Hill
Pride on the Hill seeks to support and connect gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered alumni, faculty and staff, to foster links between the LGBT alumni community and the university, and to enrich LGBT life at Tufts through academic, cultural and social programming. Returning Students Alumni Alliance
The Returning Students Alumni Alliance strives to connect alumni of the Resumed Education for Adult Learners (REAL) and create an alumni community for Tufts non-traditional students. The chapter partners with the Returning Students Organization and the Office of Alumni Relations to offer events for alumni and current students in the REAL program. TCU Senate Alumni Gavel Society
Founded in 2005, the Gavel Society is dedicated to uniting past and present members of the TCU Senate for professional, social and educational purposes. The Gavel Society works to create programs and services allowing current undergraduates to explore leadership and active citizenship opportunities, both during their time at Tufts and in their professional endeavors. Tufts Gordon Institute Alumni Association
The Tufts Gordon Institute Alumni Association focuses on providing social, networking, and continuing education events while also acting as ambassadors for Tufts Gordon Institute. Tufts Hillel Alumni Alliance
The Tufts Hillel Alumni Alliance plans activities for Jewish alumni through the Hillel Foundation at Tufts University. The Alliance seeks to foster a commitment and enthusiasm for Hillel’s mission and programming among Jewish Tufts alumni. The chapter provides professional and social networking opportunities, as well as other educational, religious and social activities for Jewish alumni. Tufts Journalism Society
The goal of the Tufts Journalism Society (TJS) is to unite alumni of the various Tufts student media groups and alumni currently in the media industry under one umbrella. In so doing, TJS is working to establish a network that can assist members in achieving their career goals, while providing guidance to student leaders of the Tufts media organizations. Tufts Lawyers Association
Formed in 2003, the Tufts Lawyers Association is an organization of alumni in the legal profession designed to serve the University while providing networking opportunities for members. Membership benefits include listings in an online directory, an online forum, social and networking functions and an electronic newsletter. Tufts Senior Connection
Tufts Senior Connection was created specifically for alumni age 55 and over. The chapter provides a venue for seasoned alumni to socialize with their peers and stay in touch with the university. The Tufts Senior Connection aims to establish connections between students, faculty and alumni at Tufts through providing access to on-campus performances, lectures and discussions, as well as social and cultural programming for alumni. Advocates for Tufts ROTC
The Advocates for Tufts ROTC, representing Air Force, Army, Marine, and Navy alumni of Tufts University and friends of Tufts ROTC, was organized in 2005 to encourage continuance as well as increased enrollment of ROTC participants at Tufts and to work closely with a supportive Tufts administration. The group publishes a periodic newsletter and participates in the annual Veteran’s Day ceremony on the Hill in November. Drama and Dance Alumni
The Department of Drama and Dance coordinates with the Office of Alumni Relations to plan communications and events for alumni of its programs and for those who were involved in theatre-related groups at Tufts, including a newsletter and the annual spring alumni reception. Eliot-Pearson Alumni
The Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Development maintains an alumni listserv and plans events to strengthen the bonds between graduates and to promote the continued success of the department. Engineering Alumni

International Community Alumni Network
The International Center maintains a network of former international students, I-House residents, International Orientation Host Advisors, and I-Club members as a means of keeping these alumni connected with Tufts. Tufts Alumni Admissions Program

Tufts Financial Network
The Tufts Financial Network comprises a broad range of finance professionals and aims to: provide member networking opportunities; connect members with leaders in the field among the Tufts faculty and industry experts; assist students pursuing careers in finance, and find ways to actively support the mission of the university.
