APPLICATION FOR AWARD OF DEGREE FORM DEADLINE: This form must be turned in to the Sackler Dean's Office by these deadline dates: Late applications will result in graduating on the next Degree Award Date.	Tuesday July 1	Tuesday Sept. 2	Monday Dec. 1	Monday Feb. 2
THESIS TO COMMITTEE (approximate date): It is recommended that candidates submit their theses to their committee two weeks before the defense date on or before these dates:	Monday Aug. 4	Monday Sept. 22	Monday Dec. 22	Monday Mar. 23
THESIS DEFENSE (approximate date): It is recommended that the defense be scheduled on or before these dates: The Certificate of Fitness Form must be signed and returned to the Sackler Dean’s Office immediately after the defense. Allow at least two weeks to make thesis corrections and to complete required graduation documents.	Monday Aug. 18	Monday Oct. 6	Monday Jan. 5	Monday Apr. 6
FINAL DOCUMENTS DEADLINE: In addition to the forms listed above, the following documents must be turned in to the Sackler Dean’s Office and the thesis or dissertation uploaded by these dates: Approval of Master’s Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation for Submission Form Survey of Earned Doctorate (Ph.D. students only) Late submission will result in graduating the next Degree Award Date.
